Williams Scotsman equipment is designed to accept the weight of normal snowfall accumulations for the area in which we lease our units. As you are aware, certain states have experienced unusually high levels of snowfall thus far this season. As with any flat roof building, when these conditions exist, attention should be paid to the building roofs and their support members.
Accumulated heavy snow loads may prevent natural roof drainage and block venting on flat roof structures. Given that local forecasts may be calling for additional snowfall, it is even more critical that you remove any excessive accumulation. These preventive measures are highly recommended because, per the terms of your lease, you are responsible to maintain and keep the equipment in good repair and you also assume the risk of all loss or damage to the equipment from all causes.
Should you experience any issues, please report them immediately to the Williams Scotsman Service Department at 800.782.1500, press 2. In this event, be sure to keep occupants from entering potentially unsafe areas, protect important contents, and notify your property insurance carrier.
Being proactive ensures the safety of your employees, the protection of equipment and property, and helps fulfill your responsibilities as Lessee. Thank you for your attention and support in this matter.
